Our Mission

Automation, connectivity, sustainability, inclusion, new mobility modes – future traffic has the potential to be highly disruptive. Upcoming changes require intensive collaboration between actors from different disciplines and organizations to create common concepts.

To meet these challenges, the non-profit organization Future Mobility Partnership e.V. has been created as an innovative format that systematically supports collaboration, joint research and agile qualification to shape the future of mobility.

Collaboration

Collaboration is the main idea of the Future Mobility Partnership to shape the future of mobility jointly. Ideas and experiences are exchanged to reach a common ground and standard among different stakeholders. A research roadmap is derived and updated based on those interactions. As one activity, scenarios should be able to processed and shared among interested members or the outside world leading to an increasing scenario database.

Research and Innovation

We actively participate in research projects and jointly identify where there is a need for pre-competitive research and development and address this through our partner projects. The joint research infrastructure makes it possible to use a common basis for future topics such as automated driving. The projects we initiate lead to tangible concepts and reliable results that can be meaningfully built upon.

Building on this, our network enables the consistent further development of concepts and study results into real products and solutions. To this end, we bring together interested stakeholders from the mobility sector - across all transport and public authorities.

Qualification

Qualification is the basis on which innovation thrives. Together, our members determine the current and future qualification needs of their future and current employees. On this basis, we design and support further training opportunities to provide solutions for changing requirements. Our members contribute to their attractiveness by providing insights into today's working world.
